CryoPen Blemish Removal

Up until quite recently, blemishes on the face and body have been quite difficult to remove fully without impacting the surrounding skin tissue.  The outcome would likely only partly remove the blemish or potentially leave a pigmented mark in its attempt. There are various options available to remove blemishes, but Cryosurgery has always been known as a very successful option, which is why it was provided free of charge at the doctor’s surgery. 

As this procedure is now largely seen as cosmetic unfortunately it is no longer provided on the NHS.  Advancements in technology brings a much more sophisticated treatment now, using liquified nitrous oxide to destroy the tissue with pinpoint accuracy therefore not damaging the surrounding tissue.  It is much quicker than other treatments such as: Laser, Scalpel removal, Electrolysis and Thermavein to name a few.

We provide Thermavein for red and facial vein removal as well as skin tag removal but for larger and more vascular blemishes and pigment such as age spots there is nothing that comes close to the CryoPen for effectiveness, speed and minimal risk. So much so that it can be performed on children.

The CryoPen treatment comes with minimal discomfort and is one of the quickest treatments in Aesthetics, patients can be in and out in seconds. It requires no anaesthesia and has minimal to no scarring. Patients can return to normal activities after their treatment.
