The Treatment
The outcome would likely only partly remove the blemish or potentially leave a pigmented mark in its attempt. There are various options available to remove blemishes, but Cryosurgery has always been known as a very successful option, which is why it was provided free of charge at the doctor’s surgery.
As this procedure is now largely seen as cosmetic unfortunately it is no longer provided on the NHS. Advancements in technology brings a much more sophisticated treatment now, using liquified nitrous oxide to destroy the tissue with pinpoint accuracy therefore not damaging the surrounding tissue. It is much quicker than other treatments such as: Laser, Scalpel removal, Electrolysis and Thermavein to name a few.
